watches the last moments of Slater’s exhibition match.
After
the small portal behind Slater closes, the young man helps
Plumley to his feet. Caine zooms in on Plumley and Jerrod’s eyes widen. All of
Plumley’s injuries - every scratch, bruise, tear, and laceration - are gone.
MCNALLY
He healed him?
FALCON
It would appear so. During the commercial break, Plumley walked up to
me and said he was done. So we iced him. He’s on a bus back to a prison cell as
we speak.
MCNALLY
Isn’t he on death row?
FALCON
He said he doesn’t fear death anymore. Said something about being at peace for the first time in his life.
