Across from the Command Room, the arena doors open. Michelle Caine is almost overwhelmed by the carnage in the room, like looking at the scene of a car crash where the wreckage was cleared but the bodies were left behind. She composes herself and walks towards the Command Room. At the same time, Adrien hops off of the platform and makes his way towards the exit.

They walk by each other and exchange a glance. Even before the incident last year, Caine always sensed something off about Adrien Dillard, something strange and cold. Something dangerous.

When Caine opens the glass doors of the Command Room, all of the lab coats stop moving. She looks around for a moment before glaring at Lau. Caine speaks to everyone else, but never takes her eyes off him.
CAINE
Close the portal.

They all look to Lau, not sure what to do. 

LAU
Do what she says. Then leave.
